Default 1995 LS400 Bulb Information

I'm going to convert to HIDs soon, so I need to figure out bulb sizes. I'm planning on converting the low beams and fog lights to HIDs.

I got the following information using http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm

Low beam headlamp
9003/HB2
9003SU Silverstar ULTRA for Ultra Night Vision - The Whitest and Brightest Halogen
9003ST Silverstar High Performance Lighting: The Whiter and Brighter Halogen
9003XV XtraVision Halogen - The Brighter Light
9003CB Cool Blue Halogen - The Whiter Light

Fog/Driving light
9006
9006SU Silverstar ULTRA for Ultra Night Vision - The Whitest and Brightest Halogen
9006ST Silverstar High Performance Lighting: The Whiter and Brighter Halogen
9006XV XtraVision Halogen - The Brighter Light
9006CB Cool Blue Halogen - The Whiter Light
9006LL Long Life Halogen Upgrade: Lasts one and a half times longer
And the following from the lexus manual:

Low beams: H4 halogen bulb
Fogs: HB4 halogen bumb
So which is right?

Thanks

H4=9003
HB4=9006

the numbers are used more often in the aftermarket world.
enjoy.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Also, since I'm running 4 lights does that mean I need 4 ballasts as well?

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Thanks.

Any suggestions on which kit to go with? Is there something I should look for?

if u havent researched, buy the tried+true XenonDepot phillips kit.. pretty pricey though. (around $450/each iirc)

if ur budget limited, they sell the Xenondepot Extreme kits which are $250/each.

remember, you need 2.
