LOTC, what are you using to fill the gaps? You mentioned rubber... so are you buying a sheet of it and cutting it to size?

they do but require fabrication, meaning cutting some parts of your car.

LOTC, could you run another HID bulb in the other headlight housing as well?

Anyone able to photoshop a mock-up of how that would look?

Since it'll take him some time to reply to your questions (if he even does), I'll just answer them for him.

If he put HIDs in the other housing, it would sorta defeat the purpose because they're the high beams. He hasn't completely finished the project, but it's good enough for the time being (according to him).

Any chance we'll get more information from him on how to do it ourselves?

The Jetta lights to install on a 1st or 2nd is pretty much the same technic.
A bottom bracket needs to be made that uses the stock mounting holes and the top of light can be done with two brackets and you must drill into the large radiator support. It is very hard to discribe this job ,do to alot of playing around with the placement of the new lights.

When I get some time to work on them again I will take pics of the brackets.

............I have been running this set-up for a good time now even thought I have some small little items to finish up on.

....But I must say that they preform better than almost all stock HID's have seen .
