Default check engine code P0306

hello, got the dreaded cel pulled out code p0306 misfire cylinder 6
whats the cause, where to start?, plugs, coil, wires, any info greatly appreciated,, 96 LS400 with 172000 mi on it, thanks

I would suggest that you have a bad spark plug wire. I used to have a LS400, and had the same problem. Changing the spark plug wires solved it. I recommend you get OEM wires, and the exact OEM spark plugs, as well.
