Lightbulb my introduction

first of let me introduce myself as SPC Philip Grant of the US Army.
next let me say,i haven't posted much but i read the LS 400 forum everyday, a habit of mine for almost 7 months now....I am currently on Deployment with the UN peacekeeping force known as KFOR in Kosovo, Serbia. i have planned on getting a Lexus when i return home to VA, and through the insight of the great minds here such as PureDrifter, SKPerformance, Akxx, LexKost, Sunee, and Steveski, to name a few.....i have made my decision to get a 93 Lexus LS400 when i get home. I have laid the plans for this car based on some influences of others i have seen and inserted my own flavour to the mix.

the list includes:
-93 LS400 Pearl White
-Exclusive Aero Euro body kit
-Boss 317 18x8 Wheels
-Tanabe DF201 springs
-Trenz Billet Grill
-Clear Front Lights
-Red and Clear Tail Lights
-Pioneer AVIC D3 Navigation

DISCLAIMER:
i have prepared a Photoshop Image of what everything looks like together.
but first i must say Akxx owns the car that most closely resembles what i have invisioned for my project....I saved a Pic of his car to my computer to use as a base picture for Photoshop...So with that said, I have to give due credit and thanks to AKXX and state this as a Disclaimer.(This is not my picture. It is property of AKXX and has been altered to display the creative form of a project car i plan to buy.)

thanks for the time and i will be around always for comments and feedback.

Philip--sounds like you've really done your homework. One thing you may consider is painting the body kit and lower panels the same Pearl White as the upper part of the car--it would look really clean.

I think due to the extent of your research any and all questions you have will be readily answered by the many great folks on this board.

Thank you very much for your selfless service to our great country.

Phillip - thanks for your service brother. It is great to hear you will be buying your LS soon. Pearl white is a fantastic color choice. I like your ideas on what you will do. Maybe you can modify your Trenz grill like Lexkost did. The LS is a great car and one that will certainly last you for many years. Even though mine is old I love it and drive it daily. My first mod was wheels and tires and I said that will be all that I will do at the time. Well, it wasn't. It has turned into a project - just as it should be. Take lots of progress photos for yourself and us! Welcome to CL Phillip.

thanks for the feedback guys.....thats what i was hoping to hear...
i have bookmarked a Sh#t Ton of material and CL has been the most informative place on the net for me...i know a little about cars but know a lot about computers and car audio....i build computers and install all my systems.
My right hand man has a crew that is around cars constantly so they are installing all my stuff while im in Bulgaria for a month in November. So when i return i pick up the car and drop the cash. i have involved my right hand man in every step of the planning process so he knows exactly how i want it done.
its really good to have someone like him to take care of it for me while im gone...

i have done several color changes in Photoshop, just to see what they would look like. i created like 7 choices but im leaning toward either Mono Pearl White or Mono Black...the colors include:
Pearl White-Grey GFX
Mono Pearl White-Pearl White GFX
Crimson Red-Grey GFX
Midnight Blue-Grey GFX
Emerald Green-Grey GFX
Black-Grey GFX
Mono Black-Black GFX

thanks again guys! i use search often and delve deep into something about a Lexus almost every night.

i remember reading a few months ago about mono white is sick when done right and i saved the pic...heres my inspiration on mono White:

Mono white is an awesome idea - I saw a thread not long ago with a fellow in Hawaii. His was all white - nice body kit but I didn't save it to my favorites
I like my mono black but like white equally as much - it's clean.
