95 LS

I am looking to replace the Nakamichi Amp in my LS. Instead of taking it to a shop, I'll like to buy an amp and replace it. I am planning on having a friend do the job. I am planning on keeping the original 4" Door Speakers and Sub for now but in the future, I'll probably change the speaker to 5.25 or 6.5 size. Any suggestion on what type of amp I should get. I don’t know anything about watts, or brand. Basically I'm looking for a nice quality sound. I am looking to spend no more than $150.00 or maybe $200. Thanks

you cant REPLACE the OEM amp with an aftermarket, the OE amp has interface with the CD changer.

Pure, so if I replace the AMP with aftermarket I still be able to use the original CD player ? This is what I want to do, replace the Amp with aftermarket and keep everything else the same. Thanks

note i said that you CAN NOT do that.....

you NEED a working oem amp or else no CD player and the radio may not even function (there is another data stream going back/forth between the amp and the HU)
