Default Rough Idle and down on power...

This is why I am not a mechanic. The patient is a 1993 US spec LS400 that is up to date on its periodic maintanance. I was changing the brake pads and flushing brake fluid last weekend and spilled some brake fluid near the master cylinder. So I carefully flushed the area around the master cylinder with a hose, trying very hard not to get any water where it didn't belong. Now the car idles rough and is down on power. I do not think I got any water near the front of the engine, and the check engine light has not come on at all, but it feels like when you have water in the distributor cap. Thoughts(other than I am a moron) Any where else to look?

Update: the spark plug wires, which are the originals, are the problem. Thanks for the help.
