91 LS400 Idles High
When I start my car it idles very high, aroound 1100-1200 rpms.
After it warms up, it drops to 500-600, but this takes awhile, at the least 20 minutes if nt longer. Also I notice enve after it idles down its still loud and my ac fans dont turn off. Changed my fan clutch but the car still sounds like the wind is blowing hard under the car. Any ideas?

just to clarify...
ac fans are in front of condenser, they turn on when the compressor engages or when the water temp gets extremely high.
hydraulic fan clutch is behind the radiator and always turns when the engine is running.
your o2 sensors might be out of spec but not to the point of throwing the CEL. your idle revs might be taking long to settle because the o2 sensors are not warming up or sending the signal that they've warmed up soon enough.

Ok I had both 02 sensors change. Could it have something to do with the thermostat switch? Also AC fans come on everytime the car turns on, they NEVER turn off.

The hydraulic fan is the single large fan close to the engine. That one works (as far as I remember) by the silicone in its clutch changing phase depending on the temperature around it. This fan is powered by the engine drive-belt.
There are also 2 electric fans on the outer side of the radiator (nearer to the bumper) that are for the AC condenser.

A bit confused, when I hear the word hydraulic from what I know there needs to be some kind of fluid thats causes it to be hydraulic. And are they noisey because mine blows like the wind.

Ok im with you. Seeing that my fan spins like the car is overheating on startup and it still idles high for at least 10 to 15 minutes, what does that tell you?
