Default Anyone tried Walker O. Sensors ...

I've got a '98 LS400 that needs an Oxygen Sensor. Has anyone tried the Walker brand sensors that are shown on OxygenSensors.com? (The downstream sensor (s) is what I need to replace.) Looks like the wiring might be easier to install.

LexLS used them and did a tutorial on how to replace them on the first gens. It might transfer to the second gen LS as well.

i recall a thread where a forum member installed a walker universal o2 sensor and was still getting the CEL. i personally replaced my front sensors with new denso universals that i got on ebay for ~$25 each (the same merchant has the 4 wire denso universals for $22 each now). getting the old sensors off took more time than splicing the connector. i didnt solder the harness though, i used heat shrink butt crimp connectors (see picture). the sub-sensors will require more time since the connector is located in the passenger cabin under the carpet. if you decide to just buy the direct fit sensors, i would go ahead and spend the extra $10 for the denso instead of the walker sensors.
