sd_ls

Yesterday I got in my car, started the car, allowed it to warm a bit, and when I was ready to put the car in gear (D), the shifter would not move from park (P). I pressed and pressed on the gear-realese button, and the shifter would not budge. I never had a problem with it before, and at this point I don't know if it is a shifter problem, or even worse a tranny problem . If anybody out there knows what may be the problem or has a solution, please, please reply.
