Default I discovered my air suspension today and my friends were all so impressed

95 LS 173,000 with air suspension.

The front part of the car was up in 2 jacks as I cleaned the Solenoid. The car was raised up for about 2 hours. When the car was brought down after we were done, we noticed the car was very low. I mean it was low low. Car looked like a damn low rider. Am saying the wheels of the car were under the front fender. I was scare as ****. I was like yo, something broke, the suspension, the schocks gave out, something major just happened to the car. Everyone around the car was like What da F #$%^%%. Out of no where one of my friends says, "wait a minute, does your car have air suspension?" I paused for a second, went in the car an hit the bottom for the air suspension. Slowly we saw the car go up. IT WAS A BEUTIFUL THING to see the car automatically come up. it took about 5 minutes or so for the car o come to its nomal height. I was again breathing okay and simply watched. My friends were like damn that car is PHAT. I did not know the car was capable of that. am I the only one ?

Those of us who dont have the air suspension want it for that very reasn, to slam it to the ground. Eddie, not all LS's were equipped with air suspension,as it was an option. By your shift lever, there is a button marked Ride Height Controller. If not present, then you don't have it.

anytime you want to do any kind of work that requires lifting the car, you should turn the air suspension off using the switch located in the trunk.

it took u from april (assuming thats when u got ur LS) til NOW to realize u had A/S in ur LS

switch is right next to ur shifter, above the ECT-i switch for Norm/Power

yes, it can but u need a controller which will run u $600-1000 depending on model+condition and it isnt recco'd that u ride low for long, as the bags will blow.

the height control on/off switch is on the driver's side, in the toolkit compartment.

Talking

I knew I had air suspension, I didn't know the car went all the way down to the ground like that. Whenever Im on a bumpy road I ussually hit the bottom and the car rises up a little bit, but that's as far as the cars moves. But I never seen nothing like what happend the other day. Like I said the car looked like a low rider. All my friends, even a few mechanics were like "WOW"

I was just surprice the car was capable of doing that. And as far as just discovering the Air suspension, I did not just discover the car had air suspension. I listed the thread with another tiltle, but somehow it was changed. Thanks to all who replied.

Now all that's left is to upgrade your air suspension
