Default Electrical Problem.... '90

I have a 1990 ls 400. My inside dashboard won't light up. Neither will my headlights or turn signals. My gas cap will not pop open as well. Any suggestions? Can i open my gas cap manually?

Sounds like you may have blown a couple of fuses. Look under the dash on the driver side and check to see if al the fuses are intact. Also check the fuses under the hood(cant remember where specific ones are located). As far as the gas door not opening, you can maunally open it from the trunk area. There should be a small wire on the right hand side of the trunk in which you can pull to pop this open. In most cases, the little tag labeled emergency fuel door release drops off and the wire settles back in behind the paneling on the right hand side of the car. In the worse case scenario, take out the 2 screws where the emergency kit is soppose to be and pull back the panel. Reach up in the ares near the fuel door and you may feel the wire there. My door has a habit of sticking sometimes and not working with the switch always. Sometimes I have to pop the trunk to pop my fuel door as well but I still have my tag in the trunk area so I no longer have to worry about it not working.
