My steering wheel has selective memory LOL
So
I recently bought a 1996 LS and it's great. Love it and has a few things that need to be fixed (nothing major) and one of them is the tilt/telescoping feature.
Now it's strange, the motor seems to work (even though it sounds like it's going to die) but it never really gets back to where i set it.
Plus let's say i put it where i want and set the memory. The next time i turn on the car the wheel won't go in the proper position and if i press "1" it will go into some odd position i never set it in.
I have searched and plan to look into the wiring TSB and also the gear that everyone seems to put a washer in. But does anyone else have any ideas as to why it behaves like this?
Thanks
