I was hoping somebody could help me. I own a 1990 lexus ls400. Last week we had a large snow storm and I turned on the windshield wipers but they didnt move because they were frozen in place. Well, I thought I turned them off and went back inside to warm up but apparently I turned them up instead. When I came back out I noticed what I had done and turned off the wipers and dislodged them. Unfortunatly, I must have bent something because now they only come up about an inch and go down. The motor sounds good. Does anyone know what could have happened and how to fix it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like you broken the threads on the motor and it is slipping on the nut.
