Hey all, I want to replace my license plate 168 oem bulbs with some white light or xenon bulbs...has anyone done this? Should I go with a specific bulb so I don't burn out the wiring?

..also, I tried to remove the plastic covering today to examine the bulb, but when I took the 2 screws out I still couldnt get the plastic covering off. Is there a trick to this, or something I'm missing??

most likely there is rubber around the cover and since your car is a 92 you just got to pull a lil harder.

i did mine a few months ago. U have to go through the inside of the trunk, and remove the liner covering the backside of the lid. Hope this helps...good luck!

i just did mine 2 days ago, took <5mins, used a philips scredriver to take the 4 screws out, then a flathead to GENTLEY pry the plastic lenses off the surface of the light. they were stuck on a bit because of the foam gasket but they werent attached/glued on
