Did I fix the Problem? Low engine coolant light, gen1
The Low Engine Coolant light kept going off in my 1990 LS400, and it keep on seeping water out through the reservoirs' drain next to the front wheel on the drivers side. I had to keep on putting water in the reservoir (a little, like 1/2 a liter), just to be safe.
I replaced the pressure cap (radiator cap), on the reservoir and have driven it 300 miles and the light has not came on anymore, and the water in the front of the wheel is barely noticeable.
I did this yesterday, however I did notice that it was leaking antifreeze from 2 different places, one was at the front wheel where the reservoir drains out, and the other was mysterious,
Because it was behind the engine to the rear left, at the plate, I think thats where my 1969 Cougars heater pipe went, what could have cuased this second leak?????
Anyways, that made me change the radiator cap.
