Default A host of car troubles... help !

my car got stolen a couple of months ago , and my parents gave me their 94' LS400... it has 245K on it and it has a host of problems... before i explain what they are, i dont know jack about cars, really. so i want to learn basically on this one.

since the car has 245K on it, do you think its sensible to put money into it ?? sorry if that question sounds dumb but i really dont know.

back to the discrepancies....

control arms are jacked up

radio only gets one station, and driver side speaker appears not to work.
radio buttons dont work except to turn unit on and off. this is an nakamichi unit btw.

seats are "well worn" and need to get re-upholstered , leather cracked

its late but i cant think of n e thing else right now.. but to defend this car love it !! it drives smooth as silk amidst all the problems.. now i'm a lexus lover for life !! PLEASE HELP ME !

well, replace the control arms as well as whatever else is worn in the front end.
replace the radio, there's no fix for what you have going on there unless you want to spenda ton of money.
get the seats re upholstered.

you should just be able to get new bushings for the control arms if that is in fact whats wrong with them, as far as the radio just pop an after market system or look for one in the classified section of the forum. ppl are always parting out first gens.

If the driveline is good, you have a capable car....it's certainly worth considering the fixes. Fix the bushings in the front suspension. Aftermarket radio and seat covers. That will get you by minimally.
