Default Got Cold Air>?????????????????

Ok guys. I just got a cold air intake and im trying to see who has a tutorial on how to put this sum***** in properly. I see a lot of wires connected to this old on and I dont know if its still goin to be used or what. Get back with me on this one.

it didnt come with directions? thats strange, checkout lexls.com they might have something.

which intake did u buy???

as i recall, the 1LS has a single hose from the power steering, and A wire/cable going to the MAF, and thats it.

Well, CAI wise, you need to be working before the MAF sensor. The MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor measures air flow. So you need to have an adapter that will bolt up to the MAF, and from there on, you can arrange it in almost any configuration you wish.

You will need to reset your ECU once its properly installed so the computer "learns" the new intake and adjusts itself properly.

Of course, you could always do a SEARCH on those brave souls that have done this before you. I'm too chicken.
