Possible Alternator Problem?
Hey all,
The car in question is a 1994 LS 400. I had just recently replaced the battery (approx. 5 months ago) because the car wasn't starting. After replacing, the car started and seemed to work fine.
The temperatures in my area have been pretty cold (ranging from the teens to the 30s) the past few weeks, and i haven't been driving my car due to travel for work. I tried to start the car tonight just to keep it going and it started very sluggishly and finally died. I tried to start again and got a clicking noise. I don't think it's the battery since the lights inside the car all work. The display lights also come on.
I'm suspecting this to be an alternator problem. If anyone has any other suggestions, i greatly appreciate them. Up to now, the car will not start at all.
Thanks,
JP
