Default 95 LS400 temperature control problem

Could someone please help me diagnose my 95 LS400 AC/Heater temperature control problem. As soon as I increase the temperature pass "COLD" then the air coming out of the vents become HOT right away. This happen both when the A/C light in ON and OFF. Thanks in advance for any information to my problem.

Tony

Make sure the interior temp sensor is plugged in, and cleaned up. Its that small vent under your key (by the drivers knee).

Thanks. Let me try this. Do I need to remove any panels to get to this sensor?

I suggest you do, instead of takign a screw driver to it. Might have to take that entire panel off, and reach it from the rear. Make sure the tube is connected, and plugged in... clean it if you have too.
