Question Problem with Lexus cd changer

Hi,
I have the standard Lexus cd changer in my 91 ls400. The cd cartridge is stuck in the changer, one of the cds is still engaged in the drive as if it was being played so the cartridge is stuck and will not come out. Upfront when you push the "cd" button, nothing happens even when you leave the door to the changer open. Is there a way to reset the changer, or another way to make the changer return the cd to the cartridge so it will eject? THANKS for any help

You can reset the cd changer by using a toothpick or a paper clip. Open the cd changer door and there is a small rice size indented bottom. By using the sharp object and push it few times. That will reset the changer. If not, you can always unplug the battery.

Thanks, i tried the unpluging the battery but to no avail. By then i was kinda frustrated with it so i just grabbed a pair of needle nosed pliars and ganked on the cartridge till it came out. When it did i saw that all the trays were severly screwed up and mangled. I wish i knew how this happened.... When i tried to straighten them , tons of little shiny silver ***** came out everywhere. But after all those were gone i was able to straighten the trays out again and everything seemed to work. The trays don't hold themselves open anymore but ohwell i am happy it atleast works again.
