well yeah the 92-94's are going to fetch a higher price than the first run, but from what i've seen you dont get much more as far as money is concerned except for the privilege to say it isnt 16 years old, and DRL's, something w/the brakes as well.

i would try traveling (not too far though), i got lucky when looking for my LS and didnt have to go too far out of town.

again, if you can find a well maintained 90-91 under 3.5k as well dont hesitate.

There are a couple of possibilities in the greater LA Area... its just sort of a pain to go all the way there ... and somehow have the car checked out by a competent mechanic.

I am not mechanically inclined so I'm not really sure what to look for (but know what the mechanic should look for.. ie: egr, power steering, guages, cv boots, timing belt)

and a pain it will be.

when i was looking for an SC i spent months, time out of my day, travelling all around town, even a few out of town trips that were a total waste of time, but if you're really harping on a car then you'll do it.

I was fortunate to find my car within an hour of where I live. I'm about 70 miles from NYC/Northern NJ, so there were quite a few cars available.

Funny thing is though, since I've had the car, I really don't see that many LS's at all. I saw three last week and I go weeks without seeing any on the road at all. They seem to be pretty rare, especially when compared to the ES which I see all the time.

yeah, the ES is pretty common.

right now i'm trying to find some not-so-beat-up leather front power seats for the LS (tan), the ones i have now are in fairly good shape for the year of the car, but i'm a huge nitpick when it comes to things like cracking/small rips

or if i could find an intact junked LS w/black int i'd like to swap out the int completely and go for a burgandy/black look.
