Need some expert advise.

My first set up was 19x9 +33 on 225 19x10 +36 on 235/35....this set up wasnt flushed at all so i had the wheels rebuilt to... 19x10 +21 19x11 +24. I test fitted the rims on the car and they look to be poking. On top of that the tire shops around here cant get 225/35 and 245/35 to bead correctly. I took it to multiple shops with no luck.

Should I go 235 and 255 or should I have the wheels rebuilt to 9.5 +27 and 10.5 +30

i'm no expert but i'll try to help!

yeah that setup will poke but really not that much! i only see about 4mm of poke up front and about 6mm rear. are your fenders cut? i do not suggest a roll as our fenders are THICK. it all depends on your ride height too.

i was able to get my 225/35 on a 10 and 235/35 on an 11 recently. it all depends on the tire shop and tire brand. not all tires stretch the same. i'm on nexen n7000 which run big. falkens and hankooks run true to small. what brand tire are you fitting?

do NOT rebuild, get better fitting tires! 235/255 should still fit. i wish i had 255s on my 11s.

So i put all of the wheels on the car. Not as much poke as I thought. Its a nice poke.

Anyways...I had to go 235/35 and 255/35 because the shop couldnt get the 225 achilles on the 10 and 245 Nankang on the 11.

The rears arent so bad. the 235 or rubbing like crazy. I only drove the car around the block and couldnt take it anymore. So Im gonna look for another pair of 225/35 to put on the front to avoid rubbing.

All these pics of people setups and enjoying the summer on their wheels and here i am waiting on my wheels to get finished like a chump, still on my winter tires....

Upside is, my wheel shop has decided that because they have taken so long to get my wheels back to me, they are going to do a complete split and rebuild for the price of fixing some rash on one wheel, and machining the OD of my rear faces to fit my new lips... which was already a stupidly cheap price on the "bro-deal" program.

now i just have to find time to fit them. curious to see how much massaging it's going to take to make 19x11s and 19x12.5s fit without any major fender work.

11/12.5 is gonna take a lot of work. What are the offsets

I put 1st Gen. IS wheels on my 1st Gen. LS400. Needed small spacers in the front to clear the calipers, but looks awesome. Nice to have the Lexus logo on the center caps. I'll post a pic once I'm off mobile. Black car BTW, so the contrast is nice. Thinking of dipping them as winter salt protection. They need to be refinished and don't want to pay for that just to get them destroyed again.

Leon Hardiritt Ritter
19x10 +21 235/35
19x11 +24 255/35

Right sides are cut
Left sides are rolled.
Long story.............

Originally wanted to go 225/245 but 4 of the shops around here couldnt get the tires to stretch. So I went one size up and its barely stretched and my tires are really close to the fenders

dang this looks proper! i have very similar specs and i was able to fit my 235s on my 11s just fine...it's all in the tire brand and ability of the shop.

I've recently developed a real soft spot for Ritters! Love the look of your setup.
