98 LS400 Navi. Harddrive upgrade?

Default 98 LS400 Navi. Harddrive upgrade?
Hello all!!

I have never upgraded the Navi harddrive on my 98 LS since it was bought new in 98. I know there is an updated hard drive which I want to swap with my old.

I thought I heard from someone that Lexus is supposed to upgrade the harddrive for free one time. Is this true? or I will have to buy the new updated harddrive for about $300??

Please advise

I heard that too, but not sure if you can still do that. I think it applies when your still under warrenty.

I have confirmed that you do get 1 FREE NAV upgrade

Wow. great to know!! the vehicle does not have to be under warranty?
who do i refer my lexus dealer to if they don't know about this??
