Antenna Replacement

I attempted to remove the old antenna as instructed, but it won't come out of the slot. Any suggestions? Thanks..................Bill

I just replaced the one in mine with a low mile unit from a '97, you can have my old one to take apart if you'd like. Just pick up the shipping and a few bucks for a beer.
