Default Memory seat/mirror issue on 1997 Coach Edition

Hi guys -

My 1997 Coach Edition has 133K on the odo and is still running like a champ. Our car has two position memory seat/mirrors. My wife and I have the same seat position so the only changes between the two settings is for the mirrors.

However, I just noticed after loaning the car to a friend for an afternoon that while my mirrors are still working on the memory setting, the seats are not.

Any ideas of what I should look at to trouble shoot? Could it be as simple as a fuse?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Strange. Never heard of mirrors working, and not the seats. Its usually all or nothing. Might want to mess with the wires, and make sure everything is plugged in. If all doesnt work, I have that part, and tan bazel i can sell you IF it turns out to be your problem. ( I would suspect the door ECU before anything else.)

ALso, what does the steering wheel do?

Steering wheel still works beautifully. It moves up and out of the way every time I turn the igniftion off and moves to the appropriate setting.

Funny enough, I was lazy and took Bessie (the 1997) to the car wash today and the memory seat and mirrors worked. We'll see if that's a fluke or not.
