stick with what toyota uses in their production factory: denso wires and denso/ngk plugs. i've read that some owners found denso plugs on one bank of cylinders and ngk plugs on the other bank!

Unless you are going to do some performance mods...stick to stock.

You can get NGK iridium plugs and NGk wires from sparkplugs.com. Get the IR Iridium plugs, part #BKR6EIX-11 , and the NGK wire set 6403 . I bought those. Haven't installed them yet, but they come highly rated. They may be more xpensive than stock, I didn't check. I ordered from that site as well.

The stock wires are pretty thin so when buying aftermarket, if you get those 8-9mm sized ones, the wiring looms may have to be modded and the wires may not run nicely under the plastic covers.

FWIW, the guys at Luxury Motor Works relayed to me they have seen enough problems with aftermarket wires that they suggest stock.

6403 is a proper NGK # for 90-94 LS Models.

Can't remember who made them but there was a power buy awhile back on a nice set of aftermarket plug wires.

I would be game for a power buy if the opportunity came around again.

The old PB was for Vitek wires, btw.

So I have back burnered this for awhile but the fuel pump has been talking to me so I started shopping for new Plug Wires.

Popped in #TE132 at the place I normally find cheap parts & saw that a huge price increase had occurred while I had "slept".

ClubPlug.net kind of rescued the situation & I found them there for $88.30 (used a 5% discount offer) & $9.00 in shipping.

200K on my oem wires. Time for a change.

For those fanatical about such things the box indicates that
NGK wires are made in Japan.
