Default Timing Belt

I had a timing belt put on at 245K, hadn't been done in over 100K miles. Now every so often when I start car there is a clunk or bang from what sounds like the starter. Lexus says this is not uncommon after changing timing belt on high mile 93 LS400, as timing is "learned" the new belt is tighter than the one that came off...Anybody aware of this

Mine does that clunk too..but I got my timing belt changed quite some time ago..like 3-4 months ago, and I just recently had this clunking..

It sounds really scary, and makes me cringe...I wish I knew what the **** it was.....

Anyone have a clue?
