Default What should I Do?

i recently purchased a 91 ls400 with air suspension. i have 207k and i believe the air suspension is shot. i park the car at night and in the morning i notice the car is leaning more on the passenger side.

searching through the forum air suspension is pretty expensive to replace. everyone does the strut conversion since its much cheaper, but the ride is not the same.

my question im thinking of changing to strut conversion myself, but if i do this i minus well lower the car, so what coilover or strut/spring suspension is affordable around $600-$800.

another question is i saw a lowering module for the air suspension ecu, but is it wise to get it considering i think the air suspension struts are bad?

Here is what you asked for:

http://www.strutmasters.com/catalog.php?cat=14

Search the forum, theres lots of options out there. If its possible, I strongly suggest getting the Teins CS with adjustable height and firmness. They will run you around $1200, but are worth it, and then some. Read up on them mainly in the GS suspension forum for more info.

Oh yeah, I wouldnt get the controller with the air suspension in that state.

You can also convert to stock shocks and springs, or any combo avaliable for the non-airsuspension LS if im not mistaken.

if u want that kit with a ~1" lower then get it via lextreme. he got strutmasters to make custom lowering conversion kits.

im pretty sure you need top mounts and some other stuff. search for Air suspension conversion, i know there was a list floating around somewhere of all the parts needed for the conversion.
