Can anyone out there tell me how to reset keyless entry on my 93ls400
i've read the thread for a 95 but they are different
so anyone with that info please HOLLA BACK!!

I dont think its possible on the 93's without changing the main key chip thats located in the car.

Yes car must be re chiped and will cost a small fortune i was quoted 380 for 1 key

So there's no way you can buy a key blank with the same FCC code and reprogram the car to accept the key?

I thought that it would be as easy as the programming on the 95Ls thats posted......just like if buy an uncut key from an after market company on line....they will send you the key with instructions on where to take it and get it cut all inclusive.......but you also will get the programming instructions you know........put key in...door open...take key out....turn key....etc......

1 brand new cut key and chip for my 93 from the dealer cost $180

The key and chip are programmed from the factory and cannot be user programmed.

i think hes talking bout the reprogramming instructions:

1-press buttom x times
2-turn off parking brake
3-reengage parking brake
4-sacrifice a small goat
5-press brake pedal 4 times.
6-repeat steps 1-5 3 times.

actually i found a solution to my problem.....i was able to use the 95 instructions for my 93ls and it worked for me.....as far as the voodoo nay sayers out there i wouldn't even get in to that

i'm just here to share info and gain info not to tare others down about their's
