While I'm still facinated by the easiness of the trick... I am more concerned about what it is telling me. I scanned through some previous forums and they are implying 'Knock Control CPU (ECM)'. I have no clue as to what that means. Anyone else get this code before? I appreciate the responses. One more question... I my car runs ragged after it warms up, should I troubleshoot once the car is heated?

The paperclip method is used for OBD 1... 95 or older, you jumper E1 and TE1 and count the flashes of your check engine light. Mine flashed once, paused for like 2 seconds, and the flashed 3 more times. It would repeat this every 5 seconds.
