Smile new owner - few general questions

Brand new owner of a black on black 1995 ls400, 130k miles. Hey guys I ave searched the a few forums and I had a few questions....

I don't know if the 120k service has been done so I would prefer to be safer than sorry.

I can only find threads on first gen 120k advice, can someone point me elsewhere?

I am located in Torrance, CA (LA Area), does anyone know a reputable place to go? I have picked up that taking it to a toyota dealership is easier on your wallet than a lexus dealership.

Is there a thread with common 2nd gen problems that I can check on?

THanks guys, glad I could join the group.

hey matt.....i dont think toyota dealerships would do that service....atleast not in ny! ......i would just buy the service manual and do it myself......which would be the most affordable way!!

being in SoCal theres a good chance the toyota dealer will not do the service on your car. theres a couple reasons for this such as the fact that there are LOTS of Toyota/Lexus dealers in hte area, many are owned by the same peoople (ie same owner for toyota and lexus dealership) and toyota dealerships use same labor rates as most other dealerships.

ur better off taking ur car to an independant dealer such as Luxury Motor Works and/or TM Engineering.
