There's another guy selling replacement climate control LCD screens on eBay for about $80. (Just do a search and you'll find them). He's actually located in San Jose, CA, which is where I live, so I'm just going to go pick one up from him today after work and install it. I'll let you know how it goes! $80 is half of what Jim Walker was selling it for back when he was. I think Lextreme has them listed on their website for $140. So it sounds like a good deal. He also includes the light bulbs and soldering instructions etc, but I'll be using LexLs's tutorial anyways.

1992-1996 SC300 and SC400

Haven't installed the screen yet, but the product looks pretty good. I met the guy, his name is Hai. He's a nice guy and definitely knows his stuff. He designed them himself being an EE, and had them manufactured in china. They're completely to spec and he had looked at the Jim Walker screens too and commentd on how his font matches better. I'm going to try and do all the soldering tonight, I'll let you know and post pics.

Mainly I need LCD for both temperature and clock LED, If bulb is cheap than I would like to replace both.

If you buy the kit off eBay it comes with the LCD and the bulbs. I did my replacement last month and it works great. I'll post pics. I think the seller's name on eBay is ls400lcd or something like that, he is located in San Jose, CA, and his price is great.

i think these are the lcd displays sold by Mikado. i bought one several years ago off ebay for ~$100, it matches the factory font better than jim walker's lcd display.

hi, i have a '90 ls400.at times the climate control/clock lcd screen gets a black haze across the entire background.this is extremly differcult to view the time/tempreture.what do i need to do coorect this problem?

you need to replace the entire LCD screen, and maybe the backlights too.

more than anything else you need to SEARCH.
