new drop springs
well i just got new 20 inch rims with a 245/35/20 tire.the rim has a +35 offset.and i rub i think it is because my springs are so old and weak.because when my 100lb sister sits in the back it goes down like an inch.i want to get the tanable springs that lower the car 2 inches.will in work or will i rub.i heard they have a stiff spring rate.

how wide are your wheels?
those trim pieces around the fender could be removed.
there are only 4 screws that hold them in place,
but once you remove them, i dont think it will make a difference.
you are going to have to roll the fenders.
why would you want lowering springs to stop the car from rubbing?
the wheels will probably sit on the rear fenders if you lower it.
just roll the rears and THEN lower the car.
post some pics once your done!

You know I needed to roll my fenders and went to a half dozen speed shops in Houston and NONE would do it. They all said the paint could crack, etc. They would only rent me the roller and I would have to do it!
I ended up going to a custom paint shop and spend $30 to have the rear fenders cut with an air saw. They look great and no more rubbing - just a suggestion but I bet rolling is safer. I just couldn't get anybody to do it.
