OK guys, I have been trying to take things one step at a time. Finally got my rims on, so let me have it. I am still a long way from being finished, still need to lower back end a little more, but thought I would share my progress so far. Here goes...

Those are reproduction Lowenhart LDR rims (real Lowenharts wayyyy out of my budget range), Got them from a friend who had a connection (can't reveal how much I paid).

I was looking at those wheels! Those are Panther 404C Paragon wheels. Very good pricing on those wheels and a pretty nice replica of the real LDR's. It's definitely a good buy for the budget-minded like myself.

Looks good! Keep the pics coming!

Thanks Kalbo 1. I don't remember seeing panther mentioned anywhere on the box when the rims were delivered to me, however the box was generic with the specs posted on them. Budget minded, you're not the only one. I almost stole these!!!! The rim shop that mounted them told me that if I had bought them from him, would have cost close to $2800 out the door. Paid nowhere near that. Now have to order the hubcentric rings for them. The profile of that rim along with the mirror signals and the eyelids on the headlights, I think, give my car an aggressive look, and of course, just a lil something different.

Hey trukn1 -

I wanted to ask you about your LED mirror caps. Did you get them from ebay. I'm looking at $99 from hk-plus (ebay id). Any issues with yours? Ease of installation, fit? Any info would be cool! TIA!

hey man, your ls is taking shape already! I like it! the rims arent really my taste but they definetly look nice on your car, and you beat me to the punch on those led mirrors... are we ever going to see clear tails?? i never liked the amber tails on my car.. they kept distracting my eye whenever i looked at it..

Yes, that shot was taken on the AC expressway in route to the meet by the Batmobile. He took that shot while we were ah.... "stretching the law". LOL!!!! I really like that shot too, only it would have been better it the camera strap hadn't blown in the way.

Actually, it has a 1" drop already. It"s still sitting high in the rear because when I had my factory tires on, I was running a tire that was 1" to big overall for the car. I had installed spacers because I was rubbing so badly. I just haven't gotten around to removing them from the rear end. But i do agree, th\at the rear end must come down some more. I can't drop too low here due to bad roads.
