Certainly the Toyota racing development guys have had some successes with manual transmissions on a UZ-FE block.

Fairly Certain that there are SC-400's that are manual. Not sure on the GS-430.

RMM did a GS 430 to a Supra 6 Speed in a IS 300 just welded the bell housing and made a new mounting plate the electronics were a issue but it worked

Ok then is it the same bell housing in the LS and the SC and maybe the GS? if so I think I have found most of the info..... need further for ecu/tcu stuffs(mostly wiring) Most definatly a Couple of SC's gone manual.

Just a thought the LS is a V8 and the sc IRC is a v6

simple answer, there is no NON-custom way to fit a manual trans onto a 1UZ. no factory toyota manual transmission bellhousing will fit to the 1UZ.

that being said, it is possible, but both expensive, time consuming, and fairly complicated.

VSsc400 did a manual conversion in his SC400

Yeah but its getting pretty close so I was kinda curious since all the conversions run the 160 154 or the 58....154 being the most common.
