Does anyone know exactly how to install an aftermarket head unit in the 97 LS 400? Is there a wiring diagram or a wiring harness that I can use? I just want to hook up head unit and still use the factory amp for the oem speakers. I have a seperate amp for a new sub. Is it possible to just add the head unit and add a amp and sub to the new head unit? I need some help!!!!!!!!!!!! If not able to use factory amp, how can I hard wire the new head unit? Which wires are the power wires and all? The colors that need to get hooked to the new head unit from the factory harness.

Do you unplug all the harnesses that are plugged into the factory amp?
