Default Semi-Smart Key

The '01 LS does not use a non-metallic SmartKey. It uses a metal "SuperKey" which has the usual internal laser cut metallic shank to operate the lock mechanism, but it also has the anti-theft transponder AND the remote lock transmitter built into the key head. Big head makes it tough to put on a key ring and not create a bulge in your pocket, but it does cut down on the number of baubles on your key ring!
