Still digging into this problem but one question, I have no DRL did the 98 have this option? My dads 99 has them. Just wondering if this is the cause the headlight leveling system error or if this has nothing to do with anything? like i posted before pass headlight would move but drivers would not, then i replaced a wedge bulb and now it moves. Just shooting blanks here

Nevermind It Is FIXED No Headlight leveling error no more. I was checking fuses and have never had the Height for the air susp Light turn on, so i noticed that there was no fuse there so i put a new 20a fuse in and wallah no error, lights move when i move the rear sensor up and down so if you have air susp and have removed that fuse youre headlight warning will be on

Just closing out the thread since someone linked to it in another one. My problem ended up being a halfa** attempt at splicing and taping the wires when My headlights were stolen ( Do they still steal HIDs lol ) I found the loose wires after years of dealing with it and being lazy and soldered the wires along with heat shrink. But now since I lowered the car my headlights are pointing too far down also. I wonder if I can just adjust the sensor to bring them up some instead of adjusting from the screws on the back of the headlights which is a pain since I have to do it at night and hard to see behind te headlights.
