What everyone is trying to say but forgot before tehy fell over laughing is.
If you start to shave a caliper which does not have extra metal for that purpose your pistons will shoot out the back end.
Get spacers if you need to clear a rim.

I need to get that spacer off, or at least minimize it to 2 or 3mm so that the front won't rub as much. I was told that I could sand the rims a bit, and possibly the calipers.
