My newish 1990 LS400 from Japan
I've had an SC400 for ages - the LS400 is a great companion. Steering is lighter - suspension a softer. The 4 doors and a big trunk is so handy after struggling with the SC400 for so long.
The car still has the Japanese "Celsior" and Toyota badges on it. The glass has Lexus and Toyota markings.

I've been shopping for a while now:

Getting it complied for Australia was a bit of a pain:

Now it's all done I love it!! I fitted the later model 16 inch rims with 245 tyres - I reckon it gives the car a nice lift.
It has TRC and airbags. The car has travelled 57 000 miles since new and still drives fabulous.
The engine came up like new with bit of a clean:

The car had 12 volt powered lights behind the licence plates - In Japan translucent plates with green numbers glowed at night - can't use them in Australia!
I reckon the interior is superior to the SC400 - doesn't crack and looks better. I love the dash compared to my digital SC dash. My car doesn't have the adjustable rear seat with massage option.
The place I bought mine also has this wild bodykit version:

I know it's over the top but I reckon it's alright!

lovely looking car. the later wheels look really well on it. Well done !
Having said that, the "body kit" looks like what a HUMV might look like if designed by Toyota...
