That was a pretty good hit or a fairly tall vehicle or both.
I was rear-ended in my 94 & by the time I got my wits about the offender had driven right around me before I could get a license #.
I was shocked to see that there was no damage given what I thought was a pretty relevant impact.

Maybe there was an important building around like a bank or something that might have had a security camera catch it on tape? Or if you know what kind of vehicle hit you file a police report on a hit and run on that vehicle and they might find it, 
its possible for them to like see the same vehicle with described damage on it. Then all they do is see if they can find your paint in his. That really blows though man, some people are just a**-holes.
