Default Car thieves tried the LS

Yes it's true, some one tried to steal my car. I drove to Greensboro north Carolina this weekend for a family gathering. I was staying at a nice hotel that was off of the main road with what looked to be a safe parking enviornment for the LS. My stay was suppose to be from Fri-Mon, well on Monday Morn I got a call from my family member staying in the same hotel telling me I left my window open. I ran down stairs to the parking lot to find a sheet of tinted glass lying next to my drivers door, damage was done to my pillar, and scratches on my door. I only have a factory alarm so it didn't go off until they opened the door which must have scared them off. Thank God they didn't take my 13" flip down TV, my alpine system, or worse my car. This goes down as the worst trip ever

Whoa...I hate theives!! Those damn punks! Get the clifford 2-way pager alarm and it will page you whenever someone literally touches the car...It's a saver. Well i hope those scratches can be buffed out. In the mean time....be safe!

Damn Stef, my uncle told me yesterday he seen you and you told him someone tried to get your car. Sorry to hear about that. I'm glad they didn't get anything from your car but the fact they even attempted is really f'd up. If you get sometime swing by my crib.

I thank everyone for your comments. I think I'm going to take this opportunity to do some more mods to the LS. For right now I'm going to put the stock wheels back on while it goes into the shop for the body work. I'll take pics of the car with the stocks so we could all have a good laugh

The other night on TLC or Discovery Channel there was a segment on car theft. Based on what they covered, vehicle theft comes with minimal consequences because it is viewed as a property issue. Some of the stats they relayed is beyond amazing...this billion dollar industry needs some serious attention to make a dent (har-har ) in preventing theft.
