These Big LSs will REally Hustle :o)
Well I've had my 1991 Ls400 for about a month now and I gotta say this thing will move!
It took a little getting used to after coming from a super tight and light g20, but if you really push the big LS it will hustle.
The handling is a little wallowy at higher speeds, but it is a heavy car, and an old one at that.
Acceleration is pretty good actually, and now that the ECU has learned my drivin style it'll shift at around 4k in power mode.
Traction control off, and aggressive accleration during cornering and I can slide it sideways which is kinda fun even for the shock value alone lol
for what it is, it is suprisingly sporty and fun to drive!!

Hmm, well, I have a '93 and I think it has great highway cruisin' power - but off the line and through the corners, it really becomes obvious that these cars are NOT sports cars. Not really criticism though, this is the ultimate cruiser and it does what it was meant to do perfectly. Good job buying the LS, you will love it for many years to come! BTW, my car shifts by itself at about 6200rpm with my foor to the floor - right into redline.
