Default Good/Bad buy? 94 Ls400 126,000 miles $4,250

I am new here and i am wondering if i should buy this car. the only lexus i have driven is my step dad's 91 ls400 but only a couple of times and i love it. Iam plannig on selling my 92 bmw 525i and buying another car. i have always wanted a ls400 especially a black one like my beemer but i have never had the chance or oppurtunity. a week ago a was driving around and i saw a black 94 ls400 for sale at a used car lot and i stopped and took a look at it, overall the tan interior only has a 2inch tear on the drivers seat bettween your legs but thats it. the body is in good condition with no considerable dents of no kind except for 2 hail size dents on the roof. the paint is nice and shiny and the engine is clean. the car has 126,235 miles on it and evrything works fine. i havent had a chance to test drive it but the only thing keeping me back is that it has AIR SUSPENSION. I am wondering if the price is fair and the dependability of the suspension, since i dont know much about these cars, i would appreciate your opinion and your advice on this hard decision i have to make thank you!!!! 94 ls400, 126,235 miles with air suspension $4,250 probably go down to $4,000

Thumbs up

That is an excellent price my friend. If everything is in good working condition I would say you have a good deal on your hands. Before you buy I would check all service records at a lexus dealer to see if the car was well maintained.

Air suspension can go anytime at that age and mileage. When depends on how much abuse the struts have taken.

air susp were $$$$....but not any more..... some one found reman with lifetime for 399 a piece which is less than half compared to what i paid for mine. I have 93 LS400. which is same as 94.

other exp

power straring pump prob + rack and pin roughly... -->> 1000- 1200 coming up shortly.

is the dash light working? they usually dont work in winter early morning... --->> 325 jim walker

any service record?? because it needs 90K
(timing belt, spark plugs, trany flush, radiator flush and other stuff) -->> 700

keep this in mind you probaly will need to do this in next six months.

other than that this is a beautiful car... just $$$ to mantain it is a 11 years old car.... but if you mantain it it will go 250K easily.
