Default What oil filters does Lexus provide since the (90915-20004) is discontinued??

Hello. I haven't change my Supra's oil since last fall. Although that seems bad, there's only about 150 miles being driven in between. I'm looking for oil filters and it seemed that Lexus discontinued their V8 oil filter last December (PN 90915-20004).

So I'm wondering, if Lexus discontinued it, what are they putting in their new cars?

OMG I can't believe I didn't read about this until now. This is terrible news!

A few years ago on ClubLexus there was a side by side comparison of the two versions of this filter. The 90915-20004 was slightly taller and was heaver. It seemed to use thicker metal and had more filter inside.

The 90915-YZZD3 works fine. Just change it every oil change and you don't need to worry so much.

instead of paying 10bucs for it at the dealer, just buy a Mobil 1 for $10.99.

Wow, 13 years. The replacement filter is good just not at the same level as the made in Japan 20004 model. Several discussion threads comparing them to other filters with the valve and filtering media used. Those are long discontinued, may be some out there though.
