Code 21 and Blinking AC Light - please help
So I'm driving home today and all of a sudden my AC stops working. The AC light starts blinking, so I turned it off. When I get home, I did the AC diagnostic and found an error code of 21, for the solar sensor circuit. Also the blinking light tells me my compressor is dead.
Does one problem cause the other? Or are they separate issues that I need to deal with?
Where is the solar sensor on my 1990 LS400?
Where can I find the AC compressor rebuild kit (that someone mentioned in a previous post I found in search)?

Lexus Test Driver
Ooooo, I hate the blinking A/C light, not good. Deal with that first.
Code 21 can appear if there isn't enough light...solar sensor. Do the test in the sun and see if it still appears. The solar sensor is located on the right of the dash close to the windshield....black dome thing.

Okay, thanks on the code 21. By the time I did the diagnostic, the car was covered by shadows.
Update:
I found a shop to do the work. Usually I would do it myself, but he gave me one helluva deal so I couldn't pass it up. He's going to put in a used compressor and giving me a 6 month warranty. I also found a great yard for parts. Whew! I guess taking it to the shop didn't turn out so bad. (I never thought I'd ever say that.)
