TINT suggestions for my color scheme, HELP!!??
Sup guys, attached is a pic of my ride. It is the common pearl/grey color scheme with a beige interior.
I am leaning towards the bronze color tint, to match my interior, however friends have suggested the silver color as well. I think black is out, for my color scheme. What do you guys think?? Do you have any pics of similar colored LS's with bronze/silver tint??
Also, will this metallic tint affect anything??
Thanks,
T

go with the silver/ light metallic tint. It will look good with the lower silver paneling, plus the car is white. Good call on leaving the black tint out. Clean looking car.

Wow, I have been thinking about tints all week long also. I have a 2000 LS 400 (in Millenium Silver), I am thinking of getting it tinted this weekend. I have always had tints on my cars, however this car's interior is black and I think getting 20% (20% is what I usually get on my cars) would be too dark. I live in NJ and work in NYC, I think the 20% will be too dark and therefore am thinking either one of the following choices.
1. 35% all around
2. 35% up front and 20% in the rear (I usually do not like doing this unless it's a van or minivan)
Let me know what you guys think
Thanks

I'd go for a 30-35% film even some of the lighter ones have good performance characteristics due to the composite materials being used.
The light transmission of the darker ones becomes a visibility hazard IMO. If you are wearing shades and trying to see through a dark tint on top of that...difficult. Consider that your pupil is adjusted to looking through the front windshield. A quick glance over your shoulder to scan for other vehicles...your eyes are not adjusted so the potential to not see an object is a concern IMO.
YMMV...just wanted to mention that.
The sig pic looks dark due to the angle...mine has 35% all around and is easy to see in and out of while maintaing good comfort.

Just added: I think the silver would fit because of the chrome wheels, anyone second that?

Bronze would be my choice since I have a 2000 LS with Bronze. Had it on the fronts but failed inspection and had to take it off. Too much going on and never had it re-installed.
Either Bronze or Silver would work. Bronze brings out the interior and I have 35%.

I personally would go for a light normal tint. 22% darkest, or 35% as others have suggested.
The metallic tints look a bit too tacky for my tastes, although with the chrome rims bling bling look you could probably pull it off
I vote 22% black all around.

Well I went to a few tint shops today. They all said DO NOT get a silver tint.....hmmmm. Most suggested a regular tint and maybe the bronze. I guess you guys couldn't see in the pic, but my LS has a slight bronze/brown factory tint inside the window already. I dont know if this was standard with the 92 LS's?? If it is standard, how does it look when you add regular tint? The guys at the shop told me, pretty much anything other than regular tint would look bad.
