Default Lowering Ls400 questions.

I'm planning on putting 18's on my 1990 LS400. Tires will be 235/50/18 front and 255/45/18 rear. Since I want it to look flush, I wanna' drop it, but I dunno' how much I should lower it. How many inches should I lower it and what kind of springs would you guys recommend?

Put your rims on first and drop your ride to suit the rims. You aren't going to know how it will look until you have your rims on. If you want it perfect the only way to go is to install coilovers. You will be able to adjust the ride quality and ride hight to your preference.
