Is this a good deal??
I hate to ask this here as I'm sure you guys get tired of these threads, but I would like to know what others think about this LS400 I have come across.
It is a 1991 LS400 with 237,000 miles on it! The thing is, it looks like it doesn't even have 100K on it. The body is in really good shape, the interior is in really good shape and the only things wrong with it are a faulty passenger side window switch, the trunk doesn't open from the inside nor with the key, and the radio (AM/FM/Cassette) **** is missing so the radio doesn't work. The car is being listed for $4500 but without even mentioning the price the guy dropped it to $3200. It is silver with like a charcoal leather interior. No air ride, no CD changer.
What do you guys think about this?

I forgot to add that the car drove like new, no smoke, very little noise from the valvetrain. I'm a mechanic and mechanically/cosmetically the car was great.

you can find a smooth 93-94 for 5,000-5500 with low(ish) miles and near perfect condition. check out autotrader and kbb.com for LS listings in your area. Remember one thing lexus' are on the expensive side to repair and depending on how many little things need to be fixed you would be better off buying a newer LS that you dont have to spend extra time and money to get into tip top shape. Long story short, a deal may not always be one when you look at the big picture . OOps I guess it is too late to make a long story short .
