Hit Man X

I recall I need some "Type IV" nonsense so ol' reliable DexIII/Mercon won't work (just how GM uses AutoTrac II fluid). I haven't been able to find this at my local McParts so I guess next stop is at the local stealer.

Any idea how much this runs per quart (or liter how it's sold)? Does anyone happen to know if there's some name brand equivalent that's available over the counter?

I change the ATF in my pans usually every 10k mi as it's so cheap. Also is the filter a filter like on my Benz or is it a screen that filters down to like 100 micron? ( ). If it's just a screen, I'll just leave it there and never mess with it.

yes, its a screen.

Toyota fluid = $3.17 @ Toyota dealership. ($9.95 @ Lexus).
Mobil ATF = $4.99 fully synthetic.

I guess I can live with $3/quart. I'm used to $1.30 for the DexIII but the price ya pay....
